Our Story
(from Christa)

It was in the depths of the 2020 lockdowns when we experienced the first spark of what would become Memorarto. I was, like so many, separated from my family, and was missing them terribly. To brighten my spirits, Craig created a beautiful artwork dedicated to my much-beloved grandparents, who had passed away several years before.
The portrait was hung in pride of place in our home, and I noticed that when I saw it, my familiar feelings of sadness at the loss of my grandparents were replaced with something else – a sense of celebration and appreciation for their lives.
I often said to Craig, "I don't think you realise how special this is, what you've created here." He shrugged it off, but I kept thinking – wouldn't it be lovely if Craig could somehow share this gift, and help others celebrate their loved ones and special moments?
So, several years later, I finally convinced him to begin Memorarto, and we were so happy to discover that the magic Craig had worked with my grandparents' artwork had just the same effect for our clients. We've had many reports of tears and joyful remembrance, and nothing makes us happier than helping others celebrate their stories in this way.
